About the Author
Larry Edsall was snatched away from a career as the sports editor of a daily newspaper in Michigan to become the motorsports editor at AutoWeek magazine, where he spent most of a dozen years as the managing editor. He left Detroit for Phoenix in 1999 to help modernize one automotive website and then launched another, iZoom.com. He is a freelance contributor to automotive and lifestyle publications, writes regularly for the Detroit News "Drive" section, contributes to the New York Times "Wheels," and is part of the adjunct faculty at the journalism school at Arizona State University. Edsall's Motorbooks titles include Camaro 2016, Corvette Stingray, and Chevrolet Volt. He resides in Phoenix, Arizona.

I just bought a Series 7 Corvette and was interested in the development of this series. The book provides a very interesting description of how the new series of the Corvette came to be; the Corvette's history, the C-7 design, engineering, marketing and manufacturing. The book is illustrated with beautiful sketches and photographs of the car, the factory and the Corvette Museum. I couldn't put it down. It gave me a completely new perspective on my Corvette. This book is a must read for anyone interested in "America's Sports Car."
Last year (October 2014), I purchased a C7 Torch Red Corvette Stingray. I really wanted to know more about the makeup of this car because it's so different than previous generation Corvettes. This book is THE BEST on the market right now! The read is excellent and the pictures are terrific. You'll want to buy a C7 Corvette after reading this book!
One hell of a book for the lover of the new 7th generation corvette stingray! A must give present for your corvette enthusiasts!Gives very short over look of c1 to c6 then into the meat of aboutthe c7. From an insider POV.I skim read in 15 min then went to every word reading and rereading for days. If you own or want to own c7 stingray you want theis book!!!!
This book is a nice addition to a corvette library. Tells all about the development of the new car. Based on the info I bought a real one. great car!!!If you're into Corvette history this book is somewhat flawed i.e. "the 1957 Corvette significant feature 250 hp fuel injection" the 283 hp fuely and the 4spd tranny and positraction are what the 57 is known for. Lots of little stuff like this ,but otherwise a good buyJim Pfister
Great book on history and development of the new C7 Corvette, but is outdated. Needs updates from 2014 cars to present 2017.

Good read! Could have gone into more detail on a lot of subjects. It's mostly a picture book.
This is an outstanding book for Corvette enthusiasts. It covers all aspects of the C7 with outstanding pictures and writing. The information is great and helps one appreciate the C7 much more. It is a very interesting and enjoyable book.
